Equipment

The camping equipment has to be sturdy and you need to have windproof clothing as well. Check with the guides for a complete list of things you may need.

Fauna

When you go out to see nature, nature will also see you. Beware the insects and leeches that you might find in the rainy season. Have some ointments and medical supplies handy.

Volcanic hazard

Although Mount Rinjani has never erupted, there are lakes that are active volcanoes. Checking for a volcanic update might be useful before starting the trek.
